Who we are
This website is run by Corexlab Limited (ABN 81 668 487 189), 622 Harris St, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Norway, the GDPR. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
What we collect
When you contact us. The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, the service you're interested in and a description of your project. If you arrived from one of our campaign links, the form also sends the campaign details from that link (such as utm_source) and the page you landed on. We use this only to reply to you and to understand which outreach works.
When you book a call. Scoping calls are booked through Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
When you browse the site. We use analytics to understand how the site is used and where it can be clearer. This includes the pages you visit, how you move between them, clicks and scrolling, your approximate location, and your browser and device type.
Analytics and session recording
We use two analytics tools:
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, for traffic reports. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- PostHog, for session recordings and heatmaps. A session recording is a replay of how a visit moved around the page: scrolling, clicks and page changes. Anything typed into forms is masked in the browser and never recorded. PostHog stores this data in the United States.
We use these insights only to improve the website. We don't sell them, use them for advertising, or try to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and browser storage
Google Analytics and PostHog set cookies or local storage to recognise a returning browser. We also keep campaign link details in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so the enquiry form can include them.
Testimonial videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you press play.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fully without them.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with the services that run this website for us:
- EmailJS delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox.
- Google and PostHog provide analytics, as described above.
- Calendly handles call bookings.
- Our hosting provider serves the site.
Our engineering team works from Sydney and Dhaka, so enquiry details may be accessed by team members in Bangladesh when we prepare a reply. Some of the services above store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Australian law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any work that follows. Analytics data is kept for the retention periods set in Google Analytics and PostHog.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or, in Europe, to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when the way we handle information changes, and revise the date at the top.
